Overview
Racca Infotech Pvt. Ltd. (RIPL) successfully implemented a comprehensive Security Operations Center (SOC) and Managed Detection & Response (MDR) solution for Right Tight Fasteners Pvt. Ltd., a globally operating manufacturing company.
The project was designed to strengthen cybersecurity across 40+ global locations, securing a large IT infrastructure consisting of 1300 user endpoints and 820 servers. To achieve this, RIPL deployed Sophos MDR Essentials, enabling centralized monitoring, advanced threat detection, and rapid incident response across the organization’s entire digital environment.
The deployment also included Sophos Endpoint protection for legacy platforms, ensuring that even older systems remain protected against modern cyber threats. Additionally, internal and external penetration testing services were conducted to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen the organization’s overall security posture.
The engagement further included CIXA/XDR/MDR implementation services along with dedicated Technical Account Manager (TAM) support, ensuring smooth deployment and continuous expert guidance.
Challenges
Managing cybersecurity across multiple international locations with over 2,000+ digital assets required strong centralized monitoring and proactive threat management. The presence of both modern and legacy systems added complexity to maintaining uniform security standards across all locations.
Additionally, executing such a global SOC project through a system integrator based in the USA or Europe would have significantly increased the overall project cost.
Solution by RIPL
Leveraging its expertise in enterprise cybersecurity solutions, Racca Infotech Pvt. Ltd. (RIPL) designed and deployed a Sophos-powered SOC and MDR framework delivering 24/7 monitoring, proactive threat hunting, and rapid incident response.
By executing the entire project from India, RIPL enabled Right Tight Fasteners to implement an enterprise-grade global SOC solution at nearly one-third the cost compared to typical implementations by US or European system integrators, while maintaining high standards of security and service delivery.
