Securing IGI Surat Head Office with Integrated CCTV, Fire Detection, Public Address & Physical Security Solutions

Racca Infotech Pvt. Ltd. (RIPL) is proud to be associated with the International Gemological Institute (IGI), Surat Head Office, for a comprehensive Extra Low Voltage (ELV) infrastructure project. The project brings together advanced CCTV Surveillance by Prama, Fire Detection Systems (FDS) and Public Address (PA) Systems by Honeywell, and integrated Physical Security Solutions by DAccess. Designed to enhance Workplace Safety, Asset Protection, and Operational Efficiency, this integrated infrastructure addresses the security requirements of IGI's gemstone and jewelry certification environment.

For comprehensive surveillance, the project includes 229 Prama IP cameras, strategically planned to monitor critical areas, entrances, exits, and operational spaces. The surveillance solution incorporates high-resolution dome and bullet cameras, along with specialized number plate and facial recognition cameras, enabling enhanced visibility and centralized security monitoring. The infrastructure is designed to provide reliable surveillance coverage and support effective incident management across the premises.

To strengthen fire safety and emergency preparedness, RIPL's scope includes a Honeywell Fire Detection System with 524 smoke and heat detectors, designed for early fire detection and timely emergency alerts. Complementing this is a Honeywell Public Address System featuring 371 ceiling and wall-mounted speakers, enabling clear announcements, background music, and emergency communication. Together, these systems are designed to support a safer, more responsive, and efficiently managed working environment.

Further enhancing physical security, the project includes 8 RFID-enabled flap barrier lanes, 4 automatic boom barriers, an X-ray baggage scanner, and RFID-enabled sliding gate access, enabling controlled pedestrian and vehicle movement across the facility. From solution planning and system design to Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning (SITC), RIPL continues to demonstrate its expertise in delivering integrated, enterprise-grade ELV infrastructure.
